Action taken on flat plagued by antisocial behaviour.

Police and partners have acted on an address plagued by persistent antisocial behaviour.

North Yorkshire Police and North Yorkshire Council worked in partnership to secure an Acceptable Behaviour Contract (ABC) on a tenant that has caused alarm and distress to residents of Windmill Rise, Tadcaster. 

It is disappointing when an address becomes a magnet for crime and antisocial behaviour and it is hoped that this order now gives residents some respite as well as reassurance that all agencies will act to address this matter.

It should also serve as a warning to other tenants about what could happen to them if they behave in this way. 

We will continue to work and address reports of antisocial behaviour in our communities and will use all of our powers at our disposal.
